Out for consoles and PC in 2017 and development is being done by Kylotonn who I think developed the most recent WRC game.
I hope it's going to do the sport justice but I can't help but think it might turn out a bit shit unfortunately. Imagine what Codemasters and there recent Evo acquisition could have done after the work they did with DriveClub and the bikes DLC. Registered 13 years agoWRC7 is good, so going to preorder this one Since they've announced it's delayed to improve the gameplay it can only be good i think (i read early tests gave good feedback already, incl by actual tt riders).
Surprised EG hasn't mentioned this yet, since it's a uniquely British title...

Registered 12 years agoWoof, that trailer from a few weeks back has really poor sound. It gives me the impression of someone short shifting on their daily commute, barely pushing 4,000rpm as they reach a breakneck speed of 25mph.

Registered 14 years agoThat looks brilliant, I feel like I could spend the rest of this and the next generation of consoles learning the IoM TT, might as well look great then,
My only criticism is the slightly awkward twitchy rider movement, especially bumping against track edges. They all do it though and I suppose that’s where the game needs to overrule the sim so you’re not constantly crashing.

Registered 15 years agoI hope EG bother to review it or at least acknowledge it exists. They had/have a reviewer that was actually a biker who I seem to recall reviewed the World superbike X game and some Moto GP games.
Watching that video the onboard stuff looked great. Not sure about the 3rd person view especially when the camera zooms in on the rear and slightly of centre on approach to corners. It's not something I've seen in any other bike game I've played so be interesting to see how well that works.

The latest trailer looks like they've made how the rider moves a lot more realistic than how it looked a few months ago, but I really don't like the crazy knee flapping that looks like it'll happen no matter how gently you move the thumbstick. If anything it might be the opposite especially on the full TT circuit. If the game runs like the real event it'll be a staggered start with each racer running 10 seconds apart which is decided by the riders qualification time.
I like the sound of that myself now so hopefully that's how it's done. Even if its a lottery situation to cut down on time spent trying to qualify.
Also this isn't going to appeal to everyone and the same goes for Dakar expected later this year. It should
